šćField Report #2ćLearnings from Two Weeks at the Aptos Horizon Program
Hello, this is Fuji from xWIN.
Today, Iād like to share our latest field report from the Aptos Horizon Program ā and highlight the major insights weāve gained over the past two weeks!
š· What is Aptos Horizon?
Aptos is a next-generation, high-performance blockchain built on technology originally developed by Meta (formerly Facebook).
It features ultra-fast transaction finality and high security through the Move programming language, making it a top choice for Web3 applications, DeFi, NFTs, and gaming.
The Aptos Horizon Program is an 8-week accelerator where selected projects from around the world receive intensive mentorship and strategic support from top-level experts.
We at xWIN are honored to be the only project selected from Japan to participate in this prestigious program!
š Our Three Key Learnings After Two Weeks
Here are the three biggest lessons weāve learned so far through our hands-on experience.
ā DeFi Must Start with Solving Real Problems
While DeFi often gets associated with cutting-edge technology or hype,
what truly matters is āWhose problem are we solving, and how?ā
For example, the project Amnis is designing liquid staking solutions for people without access to traditional banking systems.
Rather than being technology-driven, they are problem-driven ā a critical mindset we realized is essential for sustainable success.
ā” The Innovation Behind Aptos and Move Language
As builders on Aptos, we have also deepened our understanding of the strength of the Move language.
Move is designed to prevent double-spending of assets at a fundamental level, making it ideal for financial applications.
Additionally, the Aptos blockchain itself provides:
- Transaction finality under one second
- Over 30,000 transactions per second (TPS)
This ultra-high performance makes real-time DeFi and gaming applications truly feasible.
We are now even more convinced that solid technology is the foundation for great user experiences.
⢠Tokenomics is All About Designing User Behavior
One of the biggest insights was regarding token design.
Tokens are not just fundraising tools ā they are mechanisms for designing and influencing user behavior.
For example, token systems should encourage more usage and long-term community contribution.
Designing behavior through integrated product and token models is becoming more important than ever.
Itās not about just distributing tokens ā itās about creating meaningful actions and incentives.
⨠In Summary
Our three major takeaways from these two weeks:
- DeFi must be driven by real-world problem-solving
- Aptos and Move offer a future-proof technology foundation
- Tokenomics is about behavior design, not just fundraising
With these lessons in hand, we are committed to refining our products and expanding from Japan to the global market.
Stay tuned for our next field report.
