An AMA session was held on June 18, the day of the release. I will blog about the contents of our AMA session.

xWIN.Finance is a DeFi platform. It is a next-generation asset management platform. The technology of blockchain has been booming since around 2018 and it has revolutionized the financial industry. Bitcoin and NFT are two notable examples. The day that blockchain is utilized in various financial instruments is near.

xWIN.Finance’s team is operating all over the world including Malaysia and Japan, with main operation run by Calvin — xWIN’s founder, Fumi — co-founder, KP — a CPA, and KB — who is from a hedge fund. Calvin, a former BlackRock employee, was aware of the inconvenience of the existing financial system, thus he and his team have launched a blockchain-based project called xWIN in order to solve this problem.

xWIN project was started to solve the inconvenience of existing financial institutions. We are now taking on the challenge in a new area of finance called DeFi. Existing financial system has major problems such as limited access, fee issues, time spent to access financial products, and risk control. Financial freedom is also lost when one’s property is entrusted to a financial institution.

On the other hand, blockchain-based DeFi and tokenized assets have great potential. The Boston Consulting Group’s research shows that blockchain-based financial products will be worth $68 trillion by 2030. The study also found that the number of blockchain-based financial products, such as legal tender, stocks, bonds, home loans, and insurance, is expected to grow to $68 trillion by 2030.
